The Yukari Collection vividly expresses the nature of the four seasons, which the Japanese have been familiar with since ancient times,by combining designs with various techniques such as Togidashi-Taka Maki-e (Burnished-Raised Maki-e) and Raden (Mother-of-Pearl). While being a size that can be carried and used every day, it harbors Japanese beauty down to the finest detail.

A popular recurring motif, the vibrant Love birds have been interpreted by various Namiki artists. This modern version features the two birds facing each other. Cherry Blossoms were seen cascading gracefully on the barrel. Decorated in pink colour to show the sweetness of cherry blossoms during the mating seasons. Combining the traditional Japanese lacquer forms of Togidashi, raised Taka-maki-e and gold dust against the black background, this mid-size pen celebrates the lovebird known for longevity and faithfulness. 5 5/8 ” (14.2cm). 18K 750 #10 sized Medium (M) nib.
