The Emperor Collection is Namiki’s highest ranking series. An outstanding pen of impressive size and appearance, Crafted to exacting specifications by master maki-e artist Kyusai Yoshida over the course of several months, this pen depicts a Japanese pastoral scene in lacquered urushi decorated in vibrant hiramaki-e. This pen is out of production and has become quite uncommon. Signed by the artist. Decorated in Maki-e by the Namiki master craftsman Kyusai Yoshida, this rare Namiki has significantly increased in value since Mr. Yoshida is now retired. This pen employs an eyedropper filling system.
