My life is my message. Mahatma Gandhi

In honor of the great pacifist advocate of Indian independence, teacher of non-violence and exemplar of humanity, Montblanc created this exceptional pen. The 8k 750 solid white gold barrel, brushed in a horizontal linen pattern, represents truth and peace. The barrel is wrapped in golden wire, reminiscent of a spindle, Gandhi’s favored symbol of common cause with the people. The clip is set with a fever opal, whose cut is reminiscent of a spinning wheel, an object of great symbolic value to Gandhi. The saffron colour stands for courage and the willingness to make sacrifices. Medium (M) 18K two-tone gold nib, engraved with a portrait of Gandhi.  It comes with: Outer box, display box, booklet/ International Reply Card (duly signed and stamped), and a small hardcover volume of Gandhi’s words of wisdom.  Fully working and ready to write. Never used and never inked. Still with plastic film around the nib section. Converter filling.
