Grace Kelly (1929-1982), Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco, is a woman celebrated for her iconic timeless style, her artistic talent as an Oscar winning actress (she won the Academy Award in 1954 for her strong performance in The Country Girl and her personality and professionalism greatly influenced film directors like Alfred Hitchcock), and her unrelenting commitment to helping others. The Limited Edition “Princesse Grace de Monaco” was made in 2011 and is limited to 29 pieces worldwide. As a sign of its uniqueness each pen in this highly exclusive edition bears an engraved limitation number. Each creation was made by a master craftsman using the finest materials and applying the utmost precision. This exceptional Edition is finely engraved with the Princesse Grace de Monaco monogram and varnished with a divine rose coloured lacquer. The solid gold fittings are glamorously decorated with diamonds (ca. 0.6 ct) and the clip is set with a petal-cut pink sapphire (0.45 ct) paying tribute to the Grace de Monaco pink rose, created in 1956 on the occasion of Grace Kelly’s marriage to Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. The cone, enriched with mother-of-pearl cabochon, the Montblanc mother-of-pearl emblem and the 18 K gold nib round up this marvelous Limited Edition. As new condition, the pen has never been used nor inked. Still with plastic film around nib section. The pen comes with display box, outer box, booklet / International Reply Card. The Certificate is duly signed. This scarce pen was purchased in MB Boutique in Toulouse (France).Considering the importance of this writing instrument the limitation number and the name of the previous owner were deliberately hidden and will be revealed to the final purchaser only.
